Behind us are 3 more workshops for residents of Mikolow, which we implement as part of a series of town meetings. Each meeting consisted of lectures on adaptation and mitigation in the context of climate change and a workshop part, which included practical aspects of implementing selected nature-based solutions. We talked about rain gardens, their role and principles of creation, and the possibilities of using climbing plants to shade spaces. With the help of experts, participants planned the selection of plant species for the habitat, calculated the optimal volume of rainwater tanks, and designed their dream green nook, taking into account local conditions.

The next workshop is planned for April 2023, details will be published on the project website and our social media.
