As part of a series of town meetings, we held the first 3 workshops for residents of Mikolow. The lectures concerned climate change and the possibility of taking adaptation measures. In turn, the workshop part was focused on the practical aspects of implementing selected nature-based solutions. With the help of experts leading the meetings, participants had the opportunity to select appropriate solutions to local conditions: among other things, we talked about green roofs, calculated the optimal volume of rainwater tanks, planned the placement of rain gardens, selected appropriate plants and planned proper planting of climbing plants.
