Planty Park in Mikolow is listed in the register of monuments, protected are:
- composition system with alleys and park paths,
- park stand complex,
- elements of small architecture: stairs, erratic stone, stone retaining walls and stone plinth.
This means that special care must be taken when conducting maintenance and investment work.
As part of the work carried out, we demolished the existing sidewalks and landscaping elements. In place of these paths, which have their course documented on archival maps, new paths were created, with a mineral-epoxy surface that allows water to pass through. The paths were designed to ensure proper surface runoff of rainwater onto the unpaved area of the park.
The newer paths have not been restored – these areas will remain biologically active.
