🌳 Planting and maintenance of trees 🌳.

The activity aims to reduce the nuisance of heat and reduce the urban heat island effect. It will increase the shading area of traffic routes and squares through tree planting and care, according to the following tasks:

🌿 Tree planting near the interchange center 🌿

One of our priorities is to plant trees along the bike path near the interchange center. About 35 trees will be planted, with a minimum trunk circumference of 16 cm at a height of 100 cm. With this planting, we want to create an atmosphere of comfort and make it possible to enjoy the public space even during hot days.

🌳 Shading the market plate 🌳.

Shading the market slab is also an important part of our project. We intend to plant 17 trees along with the necessary irrigation system to create a pleasant and sheltering place from the sun for residents and visitors. These green oases will not only provide an oasis of peace and fresh air for residents, but will also contribute to improving the air quality in the area

🌲 Care of old-growth trees 🌲.

As part of the project, we are also not forgetting to care for the existing old-growth tree, which is of special importance in terms of age, natural and landscape values. The care will include three exceptional trees:

1️⃣ Small-leaved linden at Zamkowa Street

2️⃣ Ash tree on Mlynska Street

3️⃣ Acacia robinia on Synagogue Square
